what exercises should i do for love handles?

For a while my foot had a screw in it before from me falling. I just recently had the screw removed because of some pain i had. I just got my stitches taken out a few days ago. But i want to continue to exercise even though i cant run or walk very long. My problem area is my love handles. or obliques. the sides of my belly. What are some exercises I can do without standing on my feet?

sideways crunches.
when you go up in a crunch go to the side instead of straight. all the way to the side so that your elbows behind your head touch your thies.

I’m just saying: there have got to be some exercises our there that work your core area. Or to tighten up your lower abdominal region. Just like running and dancing TONES your legs, but also burns fat (including belly fat). So, same thing. How can I ‘tone’ my love handles?

I see what you mean, but this isn’t like leg fat which accumulates around given muscles, it’s just hanging off your torso. You can see in some pro fighters (Pat Barry for example) that they’re pretty muscular in that area but still have these love handles flaring out the sides.

If that’s where your body puts fat then that’s just the way it is. Only thing to do is cardio it into oblivion.

im a very thin girl but since i had my daughter my love handles have kind of shown… Please help me what kind of exercises are good for love handles. Thank you guys very much.

You can do different exercise to keep out your bored.Some times you can do exercise like jogging,swimming and others Some times you can do other exercise like doing gym.Then you will not get bored..If you really wanted to lose your weight,you can set a time to do exercise..

What are good exercises for "love handles"?

I tend to lose inches in my hips quick, but my love handles won’t seem to go away! What are some good exercises that will help me lose the fat around my waist?
Obviously I need to count my calories (which I am) but I’m asking for specific exercises that target that area!!!!

I have been doing something for this area of my body also. I take a weight that isnt to heavy but will push me a little and hold it to the side of my body hang it down by my hips. Not against my body a little bit away so it is not resting on me, AND I bend towards my other side and then back and so that till i cant anymore and then i do the other side. I noticed it working the love handles. my dad taught me that. i believe it also helps belly tighten up some what.
