I guess a better question would be how to lose belly fat without dieting. My mother has something against it. Maybe it&#8217;s because healthy foods cost a lot. Also what are some exercises that strongly encourage losing belly fat.<br />
I forgot to ask this before but, how can I stop having so many cravings and how can I stop overeating?<br />
<br />Here&#8217;s how to lose weight effectively, SAFELY and healthily.</p>
<p>Run about 4-5 miles everyday <img src='http://www.newabsblog.yournewabs.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />
Make sure you have the right shoes. Spikes or Reebok RunTone running shoes should help (:<br />
I got mine a month ago and since I had them, I&#8217;ve been running 5 miles everyday and so far these are my results:<br />
- Lost about 10 pounds of fat. (I can practically see my abs)<br />
- I feel stronger<br />
- I&#8217;m a lot less tired in the morning.<br />
- I love my muscled legs right now. Well, they we&#8217;re already muscled since I&#8217;m naturally really big-boned but now they&#8217;re more muscled. So, running helps alot <img src='http://www.newabsblog.yournewabs.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>- Gained 13 pounds of muscle (This is different for everyone depending on the type of body you have. I&#8217;m really big-boned, I have a body that&#8217;s 72% muscle and I&#8217;m a mesomorph and a endomorph)</p>
<p>Also, you can eat almost anything as long as it&#8217;s not too fattening.<br />
I eat a huge bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch in the morning and about 2 hours before I go to sleep.<br />
During the day I just eat a regular meal. Then go jogging for 30 minutes.</p>
<p>Also try eating every three hours. When you learn to eat every 3 hours, you&#8217;ll gain control over your blood sugar, which will help you put control of your appetite. When you control your appetite, you control your weight. When you control your weight, you&#8217;ll feel so much more energized and confident. Your self-esteem will go through the roof. You&#8217;ll enjoy looking at yourself in the mirror and appreciating all the hard work you&#8217;ve done. You&#8217;ll feel so good about yourself so healthy and fit, that nothing will stand in your way.</p>
<p>This is my diet:</p>
<p>Meal 1 @ 8 am : Breakfast (400 calories of balanced nutrients)<br />
Meal 2 @ 11 pm: Snack (100 calories)<br />
Meal 3 @ 2 pm: Lunch (400 calories of balanced nutrients)<br />
Meal 4 @ 5 pm: Snack (100 calories)<br />
Meal 5 @ 8 pm: Dinner (400 calories of balanced nutrients)<br />
Meal 6 @ 9 pm: Treat (60 calories)</p>
<p>Believe it or not, this is all coming from a FULLY-OVER DEVELOPED, 120 pounds, 12 year old.<br />

<br />Sit ups but more importantly a good diet.  This is probably just as important as the exercise.  You can exercise all you want and but if you are not eating right you will just grow muscle behind the little fat you may have.  Also cardio is the next best thing.  So the order I have found to work is focus on Diet, cardio and then the sit ups.  You really need all three but my point is you can&#8217;t just do sit ups and hope all goes well.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>i&#8217;ve heard that to lose belly fat, you need to first do sit ups and stuff to get ab muscle, and then do cardio for the muscle to burn the fat. is that true? if not, what is? also, if i already have muscle under about 1/2 inch thick of belly fat, how many laps in the pool per day should i do to lose all the fat in a month? btw, i&#8217;m 13, and i am already doing 30 sit ups a day.<br />
<br />There is no question that having increased muscle mass (size) will aid in weight loss from fat.  However, it IS a fallacy that you can spot reduce.  If you do sit ups and you have a &quot;hidden&quot; six pack, any extra calories you use for exercise come from the fat uniformly distributed around your body.  There are different types of fat found in different parts of your body that get used at different rates.  However, exercising one area does not make that area (like the abs) decrease in fat before others.  </p>
<p>In a high school pool, while swimming at the rate of two lengths every minute you use about 0.075 calories per minute per pound you weigh.  So, a 150 pound person swimming for 10 minutes would use 150 x 0.077 x 10 = 115.5 calories.</p>
<p>To lose ONE POUND of fat, you must use 3500 calories MORE than you eat.  So, at the rate I&#8217;ve described, you&#8217;d have to swim for FIVE HOURS to lose one pound of fat or 50 hours to lose 10 lbs of fat.  </p>
<p>So, if you need to lose 10 pounds, that will take 50 hours of swimming at the rate of 50 yards every minute, a bit over 28 miles of swimming.  </p>
<p>To do the same on a bicycle riding at the rate of 15.0 miles per hour, you&#8217;d need to ride 65 hours (or 975 miles) to lose 10 pounds (just about 1 pound for every 100 miles) .  </p>
<p>To do the same jogging at 5 mph you&#8217;d need to jog for about 8 hours to lose one pound of fat or 80 hours to lose 10 pounds.</p>

Ok so im thin and im in good athletic shape but i am still working on my abs. i want to have noticeably girly abs. what i do (every night) is i have this video&#8211;losing it with valerie berntinelli. u dont really need this video but if u can get it that would be great.
